CPR Instruction utilizing American Heart Association Curriculum. Classes held in three areas of Cherokee County, Georgia or at the location of your choice.

American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association

Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider Course
This course is designed to teach an evidence-based approach to resuscitation of the newborn infant.

American Heart Association Professional Training

BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers (2005 Guidelines)
This is a course for healthcare providers who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

Skills Check-Off for BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Provider
The American Heart Association offers the healthcare professional the opportunity to take the BLS for Healthcare Provider course and posttest on-line.

Bloodborne Pathogens
The Bloodborne Pathogens awareness program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others.

American Heart Association Lay Training (2005 Guidelines)

Heartsaver AED
This course is for responders who require a credential for successful completion of a CPR course, i.e., teachers, coaches, fitness trainers, etc.

Heartsaver CPR
This course trains the lay rescuer to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies with adult, child and infant victims.

Heartsaver First Aid
This course is specially designed to train anyone who might respond to an emergency in the workplace or community and can be tailored to address the needs of a specific workplace or group of employees.

Heartsaver First Aid with CPR and AED
Instruction is a combination of the Heartsaver First Aid – explained above – and Heartsaver AED courses.

Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid
This is a credentialed course specially designed to train those responsible for children’s health. It is backed by comprehensive state-by-state research and is formatted for instructors to customize it to include all topics required.

Heartsaver CPR in Schools
This credentialed course helps middle- and high-school students build skills for giving CPR in adult, child and infant emergencies and the use of an AED.

Family and Friends Series

Family and Friends Series
The Family and Friends Series is designed for community training and not appropriate for use in place of basic life support for the healthcare provider or layperson. There is no credential or completion card.

Safe Sitter Class

Safe Sitter is a medically accurate babysitting preparation program designed for adolescents ages 11 and up. The competency-based, interactive curriculum was written by a pediatrician and teaches safe and nurturing child care techniques.
